Haredi volunteers have come together to provide aid to Israel during the ongoing conflict with Hamas. One of the initiatives is Chamal HaAchdut, a project established by Kikar Hashabbat and the Tatia Foundation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has seen his approval ratings plummet following the Oct. 7 Hamas attack. He has issued a statement insisting he is in full accord with his defense and army chiefs, and has invited former Defence Minister Benny Gantz to join his war cabinet as part of an emergency unity government.
